BERKELEY, Calif. – The EA Sports Elite 11 regional workouts headed West this past Friday to California's Memorial Stadium. The workout was dominated by in-state prospects that were attempting to earn a coveted spot in the nation's most prestigious quarterback camp. California has a reputation for producing top-flight quarterbacks and there was no shortage of that on Friday.
Assets: Has a great frame coming in at 6 feet 1, 215 pounds and looks y athletic. Needs improvement: He is really raw and just needs to keep getting reps this summer. He sometimes really presses himself and overthrows at times. What was most impressive: His arm strength is actually very good for a dual-threat quarterback. Conclusion: Received his first offer from Air Force this past weekend. He could be a real sleeper for anybody looking for an athletic and physical quarterback with above-average arm strength.
